Plan to join us on Friday, August 7, when we will have a chapter social and potluck picnic at the Pritzker Pavilion. Come spend the evening with your fellow AGO members and enjoy a concert by the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus. The program includes John Corigliano’s Symphony No. 1 and Mozart’s Requiem. We will provide two large picnic blankets and get there early to stake out a spot. We encourage members to bring additional lawn chairs or blankets if they have them. Lawn access opens at 5 pm and the concert begins at 6:30 pm. The concert is estimated to run two hours. Friends and family are welcome!
Admission to Great Lawn seating is free and first-come first-served. Please bring your own beverages (beer and wine are allowed) and a food item to share. Metal knives cannot be brought into the Pritzker Pavilion. For more information on the concert program and venue policies, please visit the Grant Park Music Festival website.
Please RVSP via Google Form to confirm your attendance.

Take some time to relax and socialize with your AGO friends and colleagues, and get to know some new ones, at our regular Sunday social! These informal gatherings will be held monthly during the program year (except for December and February) at various locations around the Chicago area. Stay tuned here for more information as it becomes available.
